Demon Slayer name generator
This name generator will give you 10 random names for demons and breathing styles from the Demon Slayer universe.
Demon Slayer is a manga turned anime about Tanjiro Kamado, a teenager trying to become a demon slayer after his family was attacked by demons, resulting in the death of some and the transformation of his sister into a demon. Both the manga and the anime have received awards and are incredibly popular, ultimately becoming one of the highest-grossing media franchises ever, sharing its current position with franchises like Jurassic Park, PUBG, Sesame Street and Angry Birds.
Characters within the Demon Slayer universe train in swordsmanship and either learn or develop a Breathing Style, which make use of an esoteric technique allowing them to use magic-like abilities in their fights. All of these are derived from Sun Breathing, the first technique ever developed. From this developed Flame, Moon, Stone Thunder, Wind, and Water Breathing, some of which in turn resulted in others.
This name generator will give 5 random breathing styles, followed by 5 demon names. I focused on descriptive names only, which tend to relate to either a body part, animal, location or instrument. In-universe examples include the Spider Demon, the Temple Demon, the Hand Demon and the Flute Demon.
