Star Wars race name generators

Few have never heard of Star Wars. It is the incredibly popular epic space opera franchise first created by George Lucas before eventually being bought and continued by Disney. It exploded into widespread popularity from the release of the very first movie, at the time still just called Star Wars before later being renamed as Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, and has carved out a massive chunk of cultural relevance. From phrases such as "May the force be with you" and "Jedi mind tricks" to terms like "clanker" for anything robotic (and usually annoying), to the iconic lightsabers and figures like Yoda and Darth Vader. Its cultural influences are felt in other media through parodies, references and influences alike, which is hardly surprising now that the franchise is a multi-billion dollar one.

The original trilogy, first released in 1977, 1980, and 1983, follows the story of Luke Skywalker. Luke is a moisture farmer on a sand planet called Tatooine. When his uncle buys two droids, C-3PO and R2-D2, Luke discovers a hidden recording on R2, a request for aid from Princess Leia. When he finds Ben Kenobi, the person he believes to be the Obi-Wan Kenobi the message was meant for, Luke learns he is the son of a jedi, a knight of an ancient and destroyed order. From there, they embark upon a journey through space to not only save Princess Leia, but also battle the evil Galactic Empire led by Darth Vader and his master Emperor Palpatine.

Six more movies have since been released to finalize the Skywalker Saga. The first three episodes, referred to as the prequels, follow the story of Anakin Skywalker and how he became Darth Vader. The last three episodes, created by Disney instead of George Lucas, and referred to as the sequels, follow the story of Rey, who is only arguably a Skywalker.

In addition to this 9 movie saga, many other movies, tv shows, animated shows, video games, novels, comics, and pretty much every other type of art has seen new Star Wars stories told and celebrated. Some of the most popular ones include Andor, The Clone Wars, Knights of the Old Republic, Darth Plagueis, The Thrawn Trilogy, and so much more.

Star Wars has a universe rich in all sorts of creatures and while not all were named or had enough names to create a name generator with, I did create a name generator for 90 of them. Additionally, 11 of them were created first for Star Wars The Old Republic, an MMORPG, hence why those 11 are listed separately.
More information on each race and on their naming conventions can be found in the descriptions of their respective name generators.
