Tshiluba name generator

This name generator will give you 10 random Tshiluba names and surnames.

Tshiluba is a Bantu language spoken by over 6 million people in Central Africa. Most of whom live in the Democratic Republic of the Congo where it is one of their official languages. There are various dialects including one that includes a variety of French words as a result of the lasting effects of the Belgian Congo during the colonization periods.

I wasn't able to find a whole lot of information on Tshiluba naming conventions, but names seem to be passed down from generation to generation. A first-born child usually gets the name of a grandparent or other relative on the father's side. The second-born child a name of a relative on the mother's side of the family. For various reasons, girls may get names from male family members and vice versa, so most names can be considered unisex because of this.
There is no surname system, but rather a "son of" or even "brother of" system to help identify specific people. Sometimes multiple generations are used for this.
