Qilin name generator
This name generator will give you 10 random names for Qilin, which could work for other, similar beings as well.
Qilin are mythological creatures who's earliest mention dates back to a poem part of the Shijing, a collection of Chinese poems from between the 11th and 7th century BCE. Qilin are a chimera, a mix of multiple creatures, often depicted as having antlers, deer-like bodies covered in scales, cloven hooves, often long tales and thick manes. Similar in many ways to Chinese dragons, too, but with obviously less serpentine bodies.
Depictions vary from time period to time period though, becoming associated with giraffes in the 15th century CE. In Japan and Korea, where Qilin are known as Kirin, Kirin is also the word they use for giraffe on top of the name of this mythical creature.
As far as names go, I went with similar names as Chinese dragons due to the similarities between both creatures. The lin part of their names found below is translated as Qilin, but could also be translated as deer or even (female) unicorn depending on the context of time and additional text. Either way, there's plenty of names to pick from below.
