Cerberus name generator

This name generator will give you 10 random names for Cerberus-like beings.

Cerberus is a multi-headed dog from Greek mythology said to guard the gates to the Underworld so none may escape it. He's most commonly depicted as having three heads, but in the earliest depictions he had fifty and a hundred heads. Cerberus as a two-headed dog is also very common in artworks.
The most famous story involving Cerberus is that of the Twelfth Labour of Heraclus, during which Heracles was tasked with bringing back Cerberus from the Underworld. Modern depictions of Cerberus often involve hints to this story as well, though modern depictions differ in that they tend to make Cerberus or Cerberus-like monsters gigantic compared to its mostly regularly-sized form from the ancient myths.

Aside from Cerberus, there was also Orthrus. He was a two-headed dog and, depending on the myth, the brother of Cerberus. He was a guard-dog of a giant named Geryon, but was killed by Heracles during his Tenth Labour.

The names in this name generator follow the naming conventions of Orthrus and Cerberus, which is to say that they're Greek in origin and focus more on the guttural and darker tones. The names in this generator aren't real Greek names to convey an otherworld element while linking to real life, similar to mythological beings in general. I've included feminine sounding names as well, as Ancient Greek has distinct male and female naming patterns.
