This generator will generator 10 random names at a time, fit for the Trill species of the Star Trek universe.
Trills are a species of humanoids with look exactly like humanoids with the exception of a row of spots reaching from the sides of their forehead all the way down to their toes.
A small portion of Trills co-exists with a symbiotic organism (symbiont). When a Trill and symbiont join, they essentially form a new person with the personality, memories and skills of the previous. Once joined they cannot be removed, at least not without killing both parties within hours.
Symbionts are something considered completely normal to Trills, but the process of selecting who gets to host a symbiont isn't as easy. Only about 300 symbionts are available every year, but about a thousand Trills apply to be a host. This number is low because of a selection process, which tends to only attract highly ambitious and intelligent Trills.
It is said only 1 in 1000 Trills are suitable to be a host, but in truth this number is about 1 in 2. This knowledge is kept secret from the public out of fear of complete chaos which would arise from people fighting over symbionts.
Trill names sound a little Arabic and occasionally look like a normal name, but changed slightly. Differences between male and female names is mostly just that male names sound more masculine and female names sound more feminine. Of course, there are some exceptions.
Surnames are replaced with the name of whichever symbiont that Trill is hosting, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of difference between Trill surnames and symbiont names, so I didn't separate the two.
