Fungril names - Daggerheart
This name generator will give you 10 names that will generally fit the fungril ancestry in the Daggerheart universe.
Fungrils are humanoid mushrooms who come in a vast range of shapes and sizes. Ranging anywhere from 2 to 7 feet (60-215cm) in size, fungrils can be virtually any color, have heads shaped in all the varieties of mushrooms and more, are as lanky, stubby or stout as all the mushroom species in the world, and can live to be 300 years and older.
Fungrils can talk nonverbally with other fungrils thanks to their mycelial makeup, and can even extract memories from the dead thanks to this type of fungal connection, too.
In Daggerheart, you decide who your character is and was throughout their lives. This freedom also pertains to their names, as no examples are given in the official book. For this particular name generator, I stuck to names based on real mushrooms, but twisted to be something new. So Chanterelle might be turned into Chanteron, or Bolbitius might be turned into Sebasitius. The surnames, too, are based on existing mushroom naming conventions. While in real life you might come across an Inkcap or Fairy Helmet, below you'll find surnames like Pixiecap and Almondbelly.
